Latest collaboration between American golfer and Swiss watchmaker

Inspired by Bubba Watson's "lucky" color, the RM 38-02 is built around a carbon TPT® baseplate, which consists of multiple layers of parallel carbon filaments.

The color is a nod to Bubba's iconic Ping driver and brings a subtle pink touch to the movement. This colour also appears on the massive micro-perforated bridges on the back of the movement, echoing the pattern of the Bubba driver.

Modern golf balls can withstand accelerations of up to 50,000 grams, and the RM 38-02's 9.9mm thick bore can withstand shocks of up to 10,000 grams. Engineers paid special attention to its size, providing the compactness needed for strong building dimensions and earthquake resistance.

The case is made of unique Pink Quartz TPT®, White Quartz TPT® and Carbon Fiber TPT®. Correlating the different colours and materials without merging was a real technical challenge.

The RM 38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson is the fourth watch in the collection to bear the Bubba name. This watch is a limited edition and is the equivalent of a hole-in-one in watchmaking.
