Both the Avenger and Super Avenger collections are automatic mechanical watches, with either a chronograph function (like the Avenger Automatic 45 Seawolf) or a chronograph function that is water-resistant to 300 meters. The Avenger and Super Avenger share almost all physical and technical features, with the only difference being the size. The Avenger is smaller, with a case diameter of 45 mm and a thickness of 17.4 mm, while the Super Avenger is larger, with a case diameter of 48 mm and a thickness of 18.6 mm.

The Super Avenger Chronograph 48 Night Mission is a bold, robust and shock-resistant watch that stands out on the wrist not only because of its large case size, but also because of its imposing design. As a true Breitling Avenger watch, it is designed to be worn with gloves, with a sturdy bezel and special grip patterns on the crown and chronograph pushers.

Case, Dial and Hands
The Night Mission version of the Super Avenger Chronograph 48 features a large 48mm DLC-coated titanium case, a blue dial and a blue military strap that can be worn with a DLC-coated stainless steel pin buckle or folding clasp. Despite the rather large case size, the watch feels smaller on the wrist and can be worn comfortably and easily on the wrist of an average male. Breitling CEO Georges Kern’s words come to mind – “I don’t have a large wrist. If I wasn’t comfortable wearing this watch, it wouldn’t have been approved.”
